Senior Data Scientist (Marketing)

We are inventing Digital Sex & Relationship Therapy, and we are growing fast. We've launched in the UK, and have already started making a difference to people’s lives, whether that is saving their relationship or improving their self-confidence.

We’re a small team with big ambitions. This is an important and formative time for us, and this early in a company the right person at the right time can make all the difference in the world.

Sex and relationships are unimaginably diverse, and we need to build a diverse team to understand it; people of all backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

What We're Looking For

Your role will be to validate and help iterate our performance marketing. This might involve answering tricky questions about how a campaign is doing, or identifying a key action that we should push users towards to improve conversion. You'll also be working closely with the developers to make sure that we are capturing all the data we should be.

You'd be our first Data Science hire, and whilst we already take a data driven approach to decision-making, you'd help us level-up substantially.

Qualifications

You have experience with standard marketing analytics tools, for example:

  • Google Analytics

  • Google Tag Manager

  • Facebook Analytics

  • A BI Tool such as Tableau, Looker

  • AppsFlyer, Adjust or equivalent

  • SQL (BigQuery experience is a plus)

Skills

You have experience working in a performance marketing workflow, for example:

  • Data storage, partner integrations, data enrichment for cross-channel analytics, building audiences.

  • Audience and messaging segmentation, link/creative deployment, A/B testing, email, push

  • Data visualisation, cohort analysis, mobile attribution, deep linking, web-to-app banners

And additionally:

  • You are an effective communicator, and can help others on the team understand nuance and complexity

  • You're able to work well with other disciplines, e.g. developers, designers, copywriters, etc

  • With the experience you're bringing, you'll hit the ground running

Flexible Working

Due to the ongoing global pandemic, we are currently working remotely. Once it’s safe to return into offices, the role will be based out of our London office. You will have a reasonable amount of flexibility as to what hours you do your work, as long as your teammates can depend on you, you are on-time to calls/meetings, and the work gets done.
